This region has been recognized as one of the premier Pinot Noir producing areas in the world-rivalling the best in Burgundy. As one of Oregon's pioneer wineries, Amity Vineyards helped establish the area's reputation for world class Pinot Noir as early as 1985, the year Robert Parker "Discovered Oregon," praising Amity Vineyards' 1983 Winemaker's Reserve Pinot noir as"One of the best Pinot Noirs I have ever tasted." Archery Summit – Oregon, USA

During the late 1960s and early 1970s, a small group of inspired Californian winemakers, intent on creating a new American wine region, migrated north to Oregon. These ardent farmers were soon growing superb Pinot Noir grapes. In no time, Oregon Pinot Noirs were turning heads in blind tastings of the world’s very best. Archery Summit has taken those first successes to new levels by continuing to aim high. We’ve dedicated ourselves to hands-on vineyard management and to crafting our Pinot Noirs in the state’s first 100 % gravity-flow winery.

Charles Smith Wines – Washington State, USA

First there was K Vintners, then the Magnificent Wine Company and now winemaker Charles Smith brings you his latest revelation. Charles Smith Wines: The Modernist Project is a response to how people generally consume wine today, that is immediately…as in immediately after being purchased at a market, restaurant or bar, to be drunk straight away. Wine in this category is typically either simple, or is a wine that would be much better a few years down the road. ‘Modernist Project’ wines are about putting as much into the bottle as possible. The intent is to create wines to be enjoyed now, but with typicity with regards to variety—that is merlot that tastes like merlot—and to the vineyard—wine that tastes like where it was grown. The wines are full of flavour, balanced, and true to their place of origin.

Owner-winemaker Charles Smith with his big hair, kick ass attitude and bold packaging arrived in the Walla Walla Valley following eleven years in Scandinavia managing rock bands. Originally hailing from northern California, he has been involved with wine personally and professionally his entire life.  “It’s just booze – drink it!”

Craggy Range / Wild Rock / One Tree – Hawke's Bay, New Zealand

Steve Smith is a Master of Wine and world renowned viticulturalist who has made the perfect combinations of vine, rootstock and microclimate his life’s work. In 1997 he had the good fortune to make the acquaintance of Australian TJ Peabody and his family, who were looking to create a winery of world class standard. Sometimes something great is born of chance meeting and this is a perfect example. Rather than buy a Chateau in Bordeaux, Steve convinced Terry Peabody that New Zealand could produce wines to dazzle the world. With its home below the spectacular Te Mata (Fallen Giant) Peak in Hawkes Bay, Steve has found ideal terroir in the nearby Gimblett Gravels for Bordeaux Reds and Syrah. For the best possible Pinot Noir and Sauvignon Blanc he has vineyards to the south on Te Muna Road in Martinborough. Craggy Range is all about marrying place and grape.

The Wild Rock Wine Company is a producer of regionally diverse wines from a combination of owned, leased and contracted vineyards in Hawke's Bay, Martinborough, Marlborough and Central Otago.

From our 'Wild Whites' (Sauvignon Blanc, Chardonnay, Pinot Gris, Rose) to the 'Rich Reds' (Syrah, Merlot/Malbec) and 'Just Pinot', Wild Rock's modern, unconstrained and memorable collection of wines speak uniquely of New Zealand and showcase some of the county's best known varietals.

Proudly New Zealand. Unforgettable Wines.

“One Tree is a symbol of individuality, standing alone and making a statement of personality that is not influenced by others. The wines of One Tree take their cue from this sense of individuality that is indelibly linked to the environment that we are part of.”

Pine Ridge Winery / Forefront by Pine Ridge – California, USA

What does it take to make a world-class wine? Experimenting with clones, rootstocks and winemaking techniques, they paid meticulous attention to every detail, from vineyard to bottle, and embraced innovation in the pursuit of ever higher quality.

Viña Arboleda – Aconcagua Valley, Chile

Arboleda, Eduardo Chadwick's personal project in the Aconcagua Valley, was born in 1999 as a tribute to Chile's native trees that have been preserved in the sustainably managed vineyards.  Working with respect for the environment and in harmony with nature, the understanding of terroir, a passionate team, and the vision for excellence, are the pillars of Arboleda's distinct world-class wines.

The Valle de Aconcagua was the place chosen for Arboleda, which is 100 km north of Santiago, the capital of Chile. The cold coastal winds that blow in from the Pacific Ocean toward the Andes Mountains, along with a Mediterranean climate allow the grapes to ripen slowly, intensifying the flavours and concentration of our wines. The winds begin at the Pacific Coast, pass through our Chilhué vineyard near the sea, continue up the Aconcagua River Basin, and blow through our Las Vertientes vineyard, moderating the temperatures of our grapes, until they reach the foot of the impressive Mt. Aconcagua, the highest peak in the Andes Mountains.

U'Luvka Vodka - Poland

Rediscover the Spirit of True Genius

U’Luvka represents the height of the modern distiller’s art, while owing its inspiration to the alchemical traditions of the 17th century Polish Royal Court. In 1606 King Sigismund III of Poland commissioned the famous alchemist Sendivogius to develop a vodka of the finest purity and most exceptional quality to be enjoyed by his Royal Court. Sendivogius confirmed his genius by delivering a spirit of legendary finesse.

The Recipe

This centuries old Royal Polish recipe was rediscovered in ancient archives, court records and legends. It has been meticulously recreated by one of Poland’s foremost modern alchemists.  We have striven for purity, character and authenticity, using only the noblest cereals, crystalline deep well water and cunningly sourced traditional recipes.

U’Luvka is made in full appreciation of the transformative, alchemical processes involved. The finest Polish rye, wheat and barley are added to our fine water and mashed; then fertilised with yeast, begetting a seething fermentation, which frees the soul and spirit from the body of the grains. Once the ferment is spent, the brew is ready for careful batch distillation.  Distillation is an elemental process that separates the artisanal from the industrial, the essential from the unessential, carrying over the spirit and soul of the mother brew. With each distillation, however, some of the volatile, characterising essences are lost. Modern commercial distillers tend to over-rectify, sacrificing character for homogeneity, flavour for blandness. U’Luvka is distilled just three times, ensuring strength, purity and smoothness, while retaining character, body and depth of flavour.

By emphasising character and tradition; utilising the best of ancient and modern techniques and nurturing a reverence for process, we have created U’Luvka; the living soul of vodka.  An outstanding vodka of great heritage and distinction. U’Luvka is clean and elegant on the nose with distinct floral notes. You will find it creamy and lightly buttery, with impressive sweet, savoury and spicy flavours, aniseed freshness and long vibrant finish.  We encourage you to savour our vodka responsibly and to raise your glass in the ancient toast to:

                 ‘Friendship, Love and Pleasure.’
